Mayweather Declares Trump the Ultimate President
Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather has declared President Trump as the greatest president America has ever seen.
In a recent appearance on Fox Business, Floyd Mayweather, the undefeated boxing champion with a record of 50-0, did not hold back in expressing his admiration for President Trump. As the founder and head of ‘The Money Team’ (TMT), Mayweather shared his insights on why he believes Trump stands out among all U.S. presidents. He stated, ‘When we had Trump before, we didn’t appreciate him. But I think Trump is a great president — actually, he’s the best president. In my eyes, he’s the best president we ever had. Great business, great businessman, and that’s what it’s about.’
Mayweather, known for his defensive prowess in the ring, also stood up for Trump against his critics. He emphasized, ‘Trump has done an amazing job, and a lot of people around America are upset. But no matter who goes in the White House, we’re always upset … And I think Trump is the man for the job. He’s the best president in my eyes.’
Beyond his boxing career, Mayweather’s success as a businessman is evident. With a reported net worth of $1.2 billion, he has recently made a move to purchase a 10 percent minority ownership share in the New York Giants, valued at $700 million. His endorsement of Trump as a great businessman further solidifies his support for the president.
In another development, President Trump displayed his characteristic humor and diplomacy when addressing his previous comments about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. After Zelensky agreed to sign a critical minerals deal with the U.S., Trump was asked by a British journalist if he still considered Zelensky a ‘dictator.’ With laughter filling the room, Trump responded lightheartedly, ‘Did I say that, I can’t believe I would say that. Next question!’
The minerals deal, which came after tough negotiations, represents a significant step forward. It allows the United States to recover its investments in Ukraine’s defense while promoting investment and rebuilding in Ukrainian industry. Trump has described the agreement as a win-win for both nations, a testament to his ability to negotiate deals that benefit America.
President Trump’s leadership extends beyond international diplomacy. He signed an executive order to implement the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)-led cost efficiency initiative. The order aims to transform federal spending on contracts and grants by applying rigorous standards and rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse. Agencies are now tasked with reviewing government contracts, justifying payments and travel expenses, and making this information publicly available where possible.
The DOGE initiative also involves terminating unnecessary contracts and reforming how the federal government manages its real property. The General Services Administration (GSA) is required to submit a plan for disposing of unnecessary government-owned or leased real property. The White House emphasized that the current system does not prioritize merit or safeguard taxpayer dollars, making this initiative a crucial step towards more efficient government spending.
This executive order is part of a series of actions Trump has taken since returning to the White House in January. On the same day, he signed three additional executive actions. One suspended the security clearances of members of the law firm Covington & Burling LLP, who had assisted then-special counsel Jack Smith in his investigations into Trump. Another order aimed to enhance healthcare price transparency, requiring hospitals and insurers to disclose actual prices and make them comparable across providers, including prescription drug prices. The third order launched an investigation into the national security and economic stability threats posed by imported copper.
President Trump’s actions demonstrate a relentless drive to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the federal government. His ability to secure beneficial international deals, like the one with Ukraine, and his focus on rooting out inefficiencies at home, showcase a leader committed to putting America first. As Mayweather aptly put it, Trump’s business acumen and leadership make him the best president the country has ever seen.
