Rosie O'Donnell Calls for Investigation into Elon Musk's Role in Trump's 2024 Victory
Rosie O’Donnell has raised concerns about Elon Musk’s involvement in Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential win, suggesting it warrants investigation.
During an appearance on Ireland’s The Late Late Show, Rosie O’Donnell questioned the unprecedented nature of Donald Trump’s 2024 victory, where he reportedly won every swing state. O’Donnell specifically pointed to Elon Musk, known for his ownership of X (formerly Twitter), as a significant factor in Trump’s success. She expressed her hope that the circumstances surrounding the election would be thoroughly investigated to determine if there were any irregularities.
O’Donnell, who moved to Ireland just before Trump’s inauguration, expressed her disbelief at the election results given the stark contrast in public support between Trump and Kamala Harris, who was reportedly filling stadiums with supporters. She highlighted her concerns as an American and a believer in democracy, emphasizing the need to examine all possible reasons behind the election outcome.
In addition to her comments on the election, O’Donnell criticized Trump’s decision to disband the Department of Education, expressing worry over the potential impact on services for children with autism, including her own child. She described the move as ’terrifying’ and ‘disastrous’ for children on the spectrum.
The White House responded to O’Donnell’s concerns by stating that the Department of Health and Human Services, under Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., is prepared to take over the responsibilities previously handled by the Department of Education. Kennedy assured that the department is committed to supporting individuals with special needs and ensuring access to necessary resources.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt defended Trump’s actions, stating that the President is using his executive authority to return education responsibilities to the states while maintaining critical functions such as student loans and special needs programs.
Fox News Digital reached out to both Musk and O’Donnell for further comment, but neither responded.
