Rep. Hageman Condemns 'Orchestrated' DOGE Protests and Tesla Violence

Wyoming GOP Rep. Harriet Hageman has criticized the violent protests against the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and the attacks on Tesla dealerships, attributing them to a coordinated effort by Democrats.

In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, Wyoming GOP Rep. Harriet Hageman expressed her concerns over the recent violent protests against the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and the attacks on Tesla dealerships across the country. Hageman described the protests at her town halls as ‘highly orchestrated’ and suggested that many of the protesters were not local to Wyoming, indicating a broader, national movement aimed at disrupting Republican events.

Hageman pointed out that out of the 75 town halls she has held in the last three years, only two were disrupted, suggesting a targeted effort against her. She accused Democrats of trying to ‘shout Republicans down’ without offering any new ideas, and linked the protests to a broader dissatisfaction with Democratic policies. ‘The Democrats are so lost in the wilderness right now because their policies have failed,’ Hageman stated, emphasizing the negative impact of these policies on various sectors including education, healthcare, and national security.

The violence at Tesla dealerships, which Hageman referred to as ‘domestic terrorism,’ was highlighted as a direct response to Elon Musk’s involvement with DOGE. She criticized Democratic leaders for not condemning these acts, suggesting a form of political projection where Democrats label others as terrorists while engaging in violent behavior themselves. ‘The domestic terrorism comes from the left, not the right, and they know that,’ Hageman asserted.

Hageman also touched on the broader implications of these protests, suggesting that Democrats are reacting out of fear of losing their traditional base of support, which includes big government and public unions. She believes that the efforts of President Trump and DOGE to cut waste, fraud, and abuse in federal agencies are causing this reaction. Despite acknowledging that there might be mistakes in the implementation of DOGE’s mission, Hageman emphasized strong support from Wyoming voters for these efforts.

As the political climate continues to heat up, Hageman remains committed to holding town halls and engaging with her constituents, despite the increased security measures necessitated by the protests. She vows to continue fighting through the disruptions and informing the public about the actions being taken in Washington, D.C.
