Elon Musk Voices Concerns Over Declining Birth Rates and America's Future

Elon Musk, head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), expressed deep concerns about declining birth rates and the future strength of America during an exclusive interview on Fox News.

In a candid discussion on ‘Special Report’ with Bret Baier, Elon Musk, who leads the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), shared his worries about the future of civilization and the pivotal role of the United States. Musk highlighted the global issue of declining birth rates, stating, “The birth rate is very low in almost every country, and unless that changes, civilization will disappear.” He specifically mentioned the United States and Korea, noting that current trends show no signs of reversal and warned, “Humanity is dying.

Musk’s concerns extended beyond demographic issues to the broader strength of America. He described the U.S. as “the central column that holds up all of Western civilization,” emphasizing that its failure would have catastrophic global consequences. “If that column fails, it’s all over,” Musk stated, underscoring the importance of maintaining America’s strength and its status as a land of freedom and opportunity.

During the interview, Musk also praised the efforts of President Donald Trump and the DOGE team in their mission to optimize federal government operations and reduce waste. Since its inception, DOGE claims to have saved Americans $130 billion, or $807.45 per taxpayer, by streamlining operations and slashing unnecessary spending.

Despite the successes, Musk acknowledged the intense scrutiny and criticism faced by DOGE and himself. He noted that every action taken by the department is public and transparent, yet his involvement in the Trump administration has led to significant challenges for his companies. Critics argue that DOGE has too much access to federal systems and should not have the authority to cancel federal contracts or make cuts to agencies.

Musk remains optimistic about the potential for a great future, contingent on America’s continued commitment to its fundamental principles of freedom and opportunity.
