Trump Warns Democrats on Trans Athletes: 'They'll Never Win Another Election'

Former President Donald Trump issued a stark warning to Democrats, suggesting their stance on transgender athletes in women’s sports could cost them future elections.

During a recent press conference following the swearing-in of Alina Habba as the U.S. Attorney for New Jersey, former President Donald Trump responded to a question about the definition of a woman with humor and then shifted to a serious critique of Democratic policies on transgender athletes in women’s sports. Trump, who drew laughs from the press with his initial response, stated that Democrats pushing for transgender athletes to compete against women would face electoral consequences. ‘They’ll never win another election,’ he remarked, emphasizing his belief that such policies are unfair and demeaning to women.

Trump’s administration has actively addressed this issue, with the former president signing an executive order titled ‘No Men in Women’s Sports,’ which prohibits educational institutions receiving federal funds from allowing transgender athletes to compete in women’s sports. Additionally, another executive order, ‘Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government,’ was signed to officially recognize only two genders within the U.S. government.

The Trump administration’s focus on this issue extends to investigations, such as the recent probe into the California Department of Education for allegedly hiding students’ gender identities from parents, which Trump’s team claims violates federal law. These actions underscore Trump’s commitment to what he describes as protecting women’s sports and rights.

As Trump concluded his remarks, he praised women, calling them ‘incredible people’ who do much for the country, and reiterated his administration’s dedication to supporting them.
