Brett Favre Backs Elon Musk Amid Tesla Attacks

NFL legend Brett Favre voiced his support for Elon Musk on a recent podcast, amid rising attacks on Tesla dealerships linked to Musk’s political affiliations.

In a recent episode of OutKick’s “The Ricky Cobb Show,” former NFL quarterback Brett Favre expressed his support for Elon Musk as the Tesla CEO faces increasing attacks on his dealerships. Favre highlighted the shift in public perception of Musk, noting his transition from a celebrated Democrat to a senior advisor to President Donald Trump and a target of vandalism and violence.

Favre remarked on the drastic change in Musk’s public image, stating, “Elon Musk, several years ago was a Democrat. They loved him. He was the most brilliant inventor, smartest guy ever, richest man in the world, he was on the pedestal. Now he’s working for free and trying to make this country better.” He criticized the backlash against Musk, suggesting it stems from Musk’s efforts to improve the country without any personal gain.

The attacks on Tesla have escalated from protests to violent incidents, including shots fired at buildings, destroyed dealership windows, and charging stations set ablaze. These actions have prompted the FBI to establish a task force focused on Tesla-related crimes, and the Justice Department has charged suspects with arson, labeling the incidents as “domestic terrorism.”

Favre condemned the attacks, emphasizing Musk’s resilience and dedication to the country. “Anyone who is willing to do what he is doing for this country, deserves all the accolades that you can give him, not the negative backlash,” Favre stated, highlighting his admiration for Musk’s commitment despite the adversity.

The situation underscores a broader political divide, with Favre attributing the attacks to political malice. “I just think that the left, in this case and in a lot of cases, is very evil. To even remotely attack this guy the way they have is absolutely crazy,” he added, reflecting on the severity of the situation.
