JD Vance Defends Deportation of Alleged MS-13 Member Amid Criticism
Vice President JD Vance staunchly defended the Trump administration’s decision to deport an alleged MS-13 gang member, criticizing Democrats and the media for their misplaced priorities.
In a recent interview on ‘Fox & Friends,’ Vice President JD Vance addressed the controversy surrounding the deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an alleged member of the violent MS-13 gang, to El Salvador. Vance criticized Democrats and the mainstream media for their outrage over the deportation, calling it a ‘disgraceful set of priorities.’ He emphasized that the administration does not seek permission from ‘far-left Democrats’ before deporting illegal immigrants, asserting that they are focused on serving the American people.
Vance highlighted the case of Abrego Garcia, who was deported despite reportedly having protected status. He pointed out that an immigration judge in 2019 had determined that Abrego Garcia was indeed a member of MS-13, based on evidence and data. The vice president questioned the priorities of Democrats, who he claimed were more upset about the deportation of violent gang members than the victims of such crimes.
The White House stood firm on their decision to deport Abrego Garcia, even after reports of an ‘administrative error’ in his placement at the CECOT men’s prison in El Salvador. Vance also took the opportunity to address other issues, including tariff concerns and rumors about Elon Musk, dismissing the latter as ’total fake news.’
The controversy surrounding Abrego Garcia’s deportation has sparked a broader debate about immigration policy and the treatment of illegal immigrants, with Vance’s comments adding fuel to the ongoing political firestorm.
