Elon Musk's DOGE Uncovers Shocking Unemployment Fraud
Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has revealed startling findings from a survey on unemployment insurance claims, exposing fraudulent activities involving claims by individuals with future birthdates and extreme ages.
In a recent announcement, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), led by Elon Musk, disclosed the results of a survey that examined unemployment insurance claims since 2020. The survey uncovered that thousands of individuals with future birthdates had fraudulently claimed benefits, alongside claims from people purportedly over 115 years old and as young as 1 to 5 years old.
According to the DOGE’s findings shared on social media, approximately 24,500 people over the age of 115 claimed around $59 million in benefits, while 28,000 children between 1 and 5 years old claimed about $254 million. Additionally, nearly 10,000 individuals with birthdates over 15 years in the future claimed approximately $69 million. One particularly egregious case highlighted involved a claim of $41,000 by someone with a birthdate in the year 2154.
Elon Musk, who is spearheading DOGE’s efforts to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse within the federal government, expressed his disbelief on social media, stating, “Your tax dollars were going to pay fraudulent unemployment claims for fake people born in the future! This is so crazy that I had to read it several times before it sank in.”
Musk further criticized the lack of sanity checks in the unemployment insurance system, pointing out that the oldest living American is 114 years old, making claims by anyone older highly suspect. Republican Senator Mike Lee of Utah responded to Musk’s findings, labeling the situation as “reckless incompetence.”
The Department of Labor has yet to respond to requests for comment on these findings. As DOGE continues its mission to root out inefficiencies and fraud, the spotlight on these shocking revelations underscores the urgent need for reform in government systems.
