Bernie Sanders and AOC's Rally Draws Massive Crowd, Targets Musk and Trump

Sen. Bernie Sanders and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez held their largest rally yet in Los Angeles, drawing over 36,000 attendees and directly addressing criticisms from Elon Musk and Donald Trump.

Sen. Bernie Sanders and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez continued their ‘Fighting Oligarchy’ tour with a massive rally in downtown Los Angeles, attracting over 36,000 supporters. Sanders, addressing the crowd, claimed that their presence was making both former President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk ‘very nervous.’ This statement was met with loud cheers from the attendees.

Sanders specifically responded to recent comments made by Musk, who had suggested that attendees at their previous rally in Denver were ‘paid organizers.’ At the Los Angeles event, Sanders humorously asked the crowd if anyone was being paid to be there, to which the audience shouted ’no!’ This interaction underscored the organic support for their movement.

The rally also served as a platform for Sanders to criticize the concentration of wealth and power among a few billionaires, a theme central to their tour. He accused Trump of being envious of their rally sizes and lying about the numbers, emphasizing the significant turnout at their events as a sign of growing public support for their cause.

The ‘Fighting Oligarchy’ tour has already visited several cities including Las Vegas, Tempe, Tucson, Denver, and Greeley, with upcoming stops planned in Bakersfield, Folsom, Salt Lake City, Nampa, and Missoula. The tour aims to rally public support against what Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez describe as an oligarchic society controlled by a handful of billionaires.
