AG Bondi Criticizes Democrats Over MS-13 Gang Member's Deportation

Attorney General Pam Bondi accused Democrats of being ‘detached from reality’ regarding the deportation of alleged MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia to El Salvador.

During an appearance on ‘Jesse Watters Primetime,’ Attorney General Pam Bondi expressed strong opposition to the idea of bringing back Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an alleged MS-13 gang member who was deported to El Salvador. Bondi criticized Democrats and the liberal media for their reaction to the deportation, stating, “These people are so detached from reality that they don’t care about the victims of crimes in this country.” She emphasized the dangerous nature of MS-13, describing it as a highly organized foreign terrorist organization responsible for serious crimes including murder and rape within the U.S.

This statement came after a Supreme Court ruling that supported a lower court’s order to facilitate Abrego Garcia’s release from custody in El Salvador and handle his case as if he had not been deported. Despite this, both U.S. officials and El Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele, who recently met with President Trump, agreed that they lacked the authority to return Abrego Garcia to the U.S. Bukele described such an action as “preposterous,” questioning how he could smuggle a terrorist back into the United States.

Bondi expressed gratitude towards President Bukele for accepting violent criminals into El Salvador’s prisons, highlighting ongoing efforts to combat the spread of organized crime groups like MS-13 and Tren de Aragua within the U.S.
