Late-Night Hosts Slam Trump's First 100 Days with Scathing Reviews

Late-night television hosts across major networks delivered harsh critiques of President Donald Trump’s performance during his first 100 days in office.

On the 100th day of President Donald Trump’s second term, late-night hosts did not hold back in their assessments. Jimmy Kimmel on ABC humorously suggested Trump’s performance merited a grade somewhere between ‘F’ and ‘U’, reflecting widespread dissatisfaction. Kimmel’s monologue was filled with sarcastic remarks about celebrating Trump’s 100 days, while hinting at the daunting prospect of 1,300 more days under his presidency.

Over at CBS, Stephen Colbert shared an NPR poll indicating only 23% of respondents would give Trump an ‘A’, while 45% would assign an ‘F’. In a bold quip, Colbert suggested the remaining 32% would prefer a more direct form of criticism. Meanwhile, NBC’s Jimmy Fallon took a jab at Trump’s administration, describing the first 100 days as a ‘bumpy ride’ and humorously noting renaming the Gulf of Mexico as a potential highlight.

Seth Meyers on NBC didn’t spare the American public either, suggesting that re-electing Trump reflected poorly on the country’s judgment. He mocked the decision to bring back a ‘disaster’ from four years prior. On Comedy Central, Jordan Klepper likened Trump’s presidency to an airplane headed for disaster, poking fun at Trump’s frequent visits to Mar-a-Lago instead of working in the Oval Office.

These critiques from prominent late-night hosts underscore the critical lens through which Trump’s initial tenure in his second term is being viewed, blending humor with sharp political commentary.
