Elon Musk's DOGE Initiative Refers 57 Voter Fraud Cases to DOJ
Elon Musk, spearheading the DOGE initiative, has referred 57 potential voter fraud cases to the U.S. Department of Justice.
During a Cabinet meeting, President Donald Trump expressed gratitude towards Elon Musk for his contributions to the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Musk, who has been leading DOGE, announced the referral of 57 cases of potential voter fraud to the Department of Justice (DOJ). These cases involve resident aliens who were registered to vote and may have participated in elections. A DOJ spokesperson confirmed that DOGE has been instrumental in identifying and referring potential fraud cases to the DOJ for further investigation.
In a recent discussion in the White House’s Roosevelt Room, Musk emphasized the slow but steady progress of justice, stating, “When we find cases of fraud, we refer those cases to the DOJ — it is not DOGE prosecuting anyone.” Musk, who has been intensely involved with DOGE for the past three months, plans to reduce his time commitment now that the initiative is established. He compared the new administration to a start-up, noting that as operations stabilize, his presence is less critical, allowing him to focus more on his companies.
Musk’s efforts have been pivotal in mapping out government inefficiencies and building a team to address them. As he prepares to step back from DOGE, the initiative continues to work closely with the DOJ to combat fraud and waste within the federal government.
