Trump Assassination Attempt Sculpture Displayed in Oval Office
A bronze sculpture depicting the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump was prominently displayed in the Oval Office.
On Friday, a striking bronze sculpture that captures the moment of the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump was seen in the Oval Office. The artwork, which stands about 12 inches tall, was positioned next to the Resolute Desk as Trump signed executive orders. The sculpture recreates the iconic scene from July 13 of the previous year at the Butler Farm Show Grounds in Pennsylvania, where Trump was quickly escorted off stage by Secret Service agents after shots were fired by Thomas Matthew Crooks. The piece shows Trump with his fist raised, a moment that went viral and symbolized his resilience and bravery during the 2024 presidential campaign. The sculpture, rendered in dark bronze with an Old Glory flag draped behind it, is a maquette for a planned nine-foot statue by artist Stan Watts of the Trump Statue Project. The White House did not comment on the sculpture’s presence or its significance on that day.
